How lock the computer?

pl tel me tell mee how to log off the computer and also i want to know how lock the folder and how lock the pc and i want to change the password pl explainHow lock the computer?

TO LOG OFF: Click Start%26gt;Log Off


TO LOCK FOLDER: Select the folder and click 'Make Zip folder'


CHANGE PASSWORD: Start%26gt;Settings%26gt;Control Panel%26gt;User Accounts Click on your name with the picture you chose next to it then select Make/Change password. It will make you enter it every time you turn your computer on. If you haven't yet made a user account click on Create a new account and then set a password.

to lock a folder download folder lock from the net


to lock pc use a password.go to use accounts in the control panel.then click change an account and then click create a password. follow the steps.
simply go to your start menu, control menu , go to your account settings, select your account, and there it should ask you what you would like to do like add/remove/ or change a password.
To Log off your computer, go to Start%26gt;Log off%26gt;Log off.





To Lock your computer, go to Start%26gt;Log off%26gt;Switch User (Password should be there for better use) or Press Windows Key %26gt; 'L'.





If you want to lock any folder you need to have any program like Folder Lock . . . Try a search in Google, otherwise encrypt the whole folder like if you have any folder, say, New Folder. Right Click on the Folder %26gt; Properties %26gt; Advanced %26gt; Check ';Encrypt contents to secure data'; %26gt; OK %26gt; OK.





To change the password go to Start %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; User Accounts %26gt; User Accounts %26gt; Click the desired administrator of whom you want to change the password %26gt; Change my password.

1. Right click the folder you want to protect with password


2. Click properties


3. Click on the security tab


4. Click the big ';EDIT'; button


5. Then type in a password and select, read-only or write-only, then only you can accsess and edit it!
