How can i get rid of the personal security virus/scam from my computer?

I have tried downloading various free virus scans but they are all blocked. I have tried putting them on a memory stick from another computer but the virus blocks the use of it. I have been advised to change the name of the file I am downloading but i don't know how to. I am desperate. Please, all advice gratefully received.How can i get rid of the personal security virus/scam from my computer?

Try booting the computer into safe mode using F8 at startup. If the virus won't allow you to boot in Safe Mode then try looking at the MalwareBytes page on Facebook. They have a hack there that will allow you to get around the Personal Security virus.
