How to get songs onto your ipod from another computer?

I tried downloading songs onto my ipod, but my computer wont let me anymore. So im considering trying this on my brothers computer, does anyone know how? I hit ';Manually mange music and videos'; and it's not working, what am I doing wrong? Please help.How to get songs onto your ipod from another computer?
